Zasep Tulku Rinpoche: Dorje Ling Retreat, Tasmania, 2024
Book now for our January 2024 retreat with Zasep Tulku Rinpoche at Dorje Ling Retreat Centre, Lorinna, Tasmania.
Rinpoche will be teaching on the subject of Lam Rim. This is a rare and precious opportunity to receive teachings in Tasmania direct from a Tibetan master of the Dharma. After an absence of 5 years Venerable Zasep Rinpoche is returning accompanied by Zawa Rinpoche.
Zawa Tulku Rinpoche was recognized as a reincarnated lama in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. He spent 30 years studying with some of the greatest teachers of Tibetan Buddhism and mastered the construction of sand mandala and ritual arts, as well as healing and purification rituals. He is also the Spiritual Director of the Tsongkhapa Meditation Center in Canada since 2003.
Dates: January Friday 12th to Monday 15th 2024.
Please arrive at Dorje Ling by Friday 12th in the afternoon for orientation. An evening meal will be provided at 6pm.
Departing on Monday 15th by 10 am The retreat will be fully catered with delicious vegetarian food
Accommodation spaces are included in the price, with priority for rooms and huts going to older people or those with special needs. Plenty of tent and van sites will be available for others.
The cost (There is a limit of 50 places.)
$400 full fee (less $50 if you are a current financial TCDF member ),
$320 concession (less $50 if you are a current financial TCDF member ie $270)
$230 for non residential. ((less $50 if you are a current financial TCDF member)
$120 Scholarship (2 available on application)

Full payment is due by December 23rd 2023.

TCDF wishes to support people to experience a retreat. We understand the many benefits of retreat, to establish sangha experience as well as deepen our understanding of dharma. We request recipients of a scholarship write a report of their experience of the retreat for our committee review or website testimonials. Apply here.
Dana (generosity): Teachers give generously of their time and energy before and during retreats. They receive no payment for this and are supported by donations from those attending retreats. At the end of the retreat you are invited to practice generosity and any donations will be gratefully received. Dana supports the continuation of the teachings.
